Dejinochi is a little virtual pet that lives on your desktop.

Hatch an egg, give your pet food, keep it happy, clean up after it, and check in now and then while you work, study, or do whatever else you're doing.

As it grows, your pet can turn into different creatures depending on how you've looked after it. Some are cute. Some are a little odd.

Eventually, your pet will grow up and move out.

You can look back at the pets you've raised in your album, then start again with a new egg. Every so often, an old friend might even come back to visit.

There are different shells to unlock, different creatures to discover, and plenty of small moments to stumble across along the way.

Dejinochi is made to sit quietly on your desktop without demanding too much from you. Drop in, take care of your pet for a minute, then get back to your day.

Feed it, play with it, give it medicine when it's sick, clean up its mess, and keep an eye on how it's doing as it grows.

Different pets to discover
How you care for your pet affects what it grows into. Raise them in different ways and see who you end up with.

Pets grow up and move out
Every pet eventually leaves home, but you'll still be able to find them in your album — and they may occasionally come back to say hello.

Collect different shells
Unlock new cases for your pet and swap between them whenever you feel like a change.

Decorate with stickers
Collect little stickers as you play and use them to decorate your shell. Arrange them however you like and make your Dejinochi feel like your own.

Add your own mods

Dejinochi supports custom modded content, including new pets and stickers. Drop mods into the game and expand what you can discover and collect.

Build up your album
Keep a record of the pets you've raised and slowly fill out your collection over time.

A quiet desktop companion
Dejinochi stays on your desktop while you do other things. There's no need to constantly watch it — just check in every now and then and see how your little friend is getting on.
