About This Game

Monkey Break is a fast-paced mining-focused bullet heaven. Play as a monkey stranded on a hostile planet inside an over-equipped mech. Mine as much as you can by day, upgrade your gear, and defend your ship against growing alien hordes by night. Go from a clueless space monkey to a god of interplanetary mining!

MINE AS MUCH A YOU CAN

Explore the planet and break through layers of rock to uncover valuable ores. Push your mining gear to its limits to extract more resources each day. Dig deeper to find richer deposits, but don't get caught too far away from your ship when night falls.

DEFEND YOUR SHIP

Fight through increasingly dangerous waves of aliens to keep your ship standing until dawn. If your ship is destroyed, the run is over. Grow strong enough to survive each night, defeat the boss, and escape the planet.

UPGRADE YOUR GEAR

Deposit your hard-earned resources at your ship to choose new upgrades for your equipment. Equip up to 4 weapons and 4 mining tools at the same time.

Gain XP by defeating aliens and level up to improve your character's stats. Balance your mining and combat power and create powerful synergies to survive longer.

UNLOCK CHARACTERS, EQUIPMENT AND PLANETS

Complete achievements to unlock new characters with unique starting builds. Unlock new equipment and upgrades for future runs. Survive your expeditions and reach new planets, each with new challenges, resources, and aliens to fight.
