About This Game

One barricade. A relentless horde.

Midnight Gunwatch is a single-player zombie defense game set in a ruined city. Move your survivor between four mounted guns, hold the threatened side of the perimeter, and spend the gold you earn to keep your outpost alive. A machine gun only fires while your survivor is at its station, so choosing where to stand matters.

Survive 29 waves. Face the endless finale.

The first 29 waves steadily increase enemy numbers, health and attack strength. Faster runners and tougher brutes join the assault as attacks spread across more sides of the barricade. Clear wave 29 to enter wave 30: an endless siege that grows stronger every minute.

Build your defense with gold

Upgrade firepower, fortifications and rocket support across 20 levels each. Improve gun damage and firing speed, strengthen the shared barricade, and boost the central launcher's explosive support. Upgrade costs rise as you progress, while tougher waves offer more gold.

Keep the perimeter standing

The fence is one shared defense It regenerates after five seconds without taking damage, and emergency repairs can buy you more time. When the fence falls, the run ends. Gold and upgrades reset when you fail or restart; your character appearance, records and audio settings are saved.
