A co-op physics comedy for 1-6 players with proximity voice chat. Turn a bathtub, a sofa or a toilet cabin into a plane and fly cargo between three islands. Your friends help you build it. They also have angle grinders, the shared wallet and, eventually, a bomb.

About This Game

A bathtub with ironing-board wings. A sofa with two propellers. A toilet cabin with a rocket underneath.

Will it launch? Only one way to find out.

Will It Launch? is an online co-op physics comedy for 1-6 players with proximity voice chat. You and your friends run a tiny delivery company on three islands. The aircraft are made of household junk, the cargo ranges from a suitcase to a bomb, and the biggest risk on every flight is the people you brought along.

What you do

  • Build a plane out of whatever is lying around
  • Bolt it, weld it, strap the cargo down
  • Fly it to the next island and land it, more or less
  • Get paid, buy better junk, build something worse
  • Crash, pick up the pieces, go again

Build it out of anything

Bathtubs, sofas, shopping carts, toy cars and toilet cabins are your fuselages. Ironing boards, surfboards, fridge doors and wardrobe doors are your wings. Add a propeller or a rocket, a seat, a fuel tank and a road sign for stability. Weight, engine placement and wing area all matter. If it won't climb, something has to go. Possibly a passenger.

Five jobs, one bomb

A suitcase. A crate heavier than your plane would like. A parcel that doesn't fit in anything you own. A fragile container against the clock. And finally a cartoon bomb that really does not like hard landings. Strap it down, fly it over, unload it in the drop zone, get paid.

Your crew is the problem

The company wallet is shared, and anyone can spend it. The game just tells everyone who did. The angle grinder works on everything, including the joint holding your wing on. Friends can be shoved, kicked, carried, thrown off the pier and lifted by the crane. Sort it out over voice chat. Or don't.

Three islands

A junkyard airfield with a garage full of engines. A beach resort with a bar, bungalows, a pool, a water slide, a crane on the pier and a junk machine that pays out in spare parts. Sometimes. A lighthouse on a cliff, where a guard warns you exactly once. The sun goes down while you argue about the last bolt.
