What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early launch will focus on game-mechanics while full release will add polish.

My goal during early access is to develop a full game that not only meets my own standards and objectives but is open too to more possibilities thanks to engaged players.

Providing the earliest possible version of the game that can be played and won allows for the maximum length of time to receive and implement criticism prior to full release.

I commit fully to launch a full version of the game that represents a healthy mixture of my original vision and the experiences that players may share during development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Fortrezo Desaparanta will launch early in 2026 and fully in 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The initial release is designed to share a first vision of the game-concept that can be played from start to finish and allows players to join and participate in its development.

The full version will:
* Replace the text-based graphics with pixel-art
* Add dynamic musical tracks
* Develop a postgame based on the concept of a fading world
* Have more content: items; powers; starting heroes...
* Be translated to spanish; portuguese and french”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game can be fully played and won but not much more than that as of early launch.

For details on individual features please see the description-section in this page.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The game will be discounted while in early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Experiences shared by players will help guide features and priorities during development.

I will interpret comments from players by assessing their fit for the game and then iteratively propose working designs to problems and suggestions they may share.

I aim to work on this project for extended periods and engage with the community semidaily with news or responses to any direct communication and discussions.

Players can contact me via the Steam-forums; Discord; mail and X.com. Links can be found on the sidebar here in the Store-page or from the web-site that is linked too.”
