What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Poco Loco already supports complete creator-led races, but the best hosting tools are shaped by real communities and real broadcasts. Early Access lets us improve the Track Builder, creator operations, onboarding, accessibility, content, and reliability with direct feedback from Twitch and Kick creators before we call the experience complete.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect approximately 12 months. Quality and creator feedback will determine the final 1.0 date, so this estimate may change.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to make track creation easier, improve creator setup and race-night operations, expand polished racing content and customization, strengthen onboarding and accessibility, and continue improving performance and reliability. We are also going to onboard more platforms to connect to. We will refine priorities with the community and will keep this answer updated as plans change.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is playable online on Windows x64. Creators can sign in with Twitch or Kick, connect both channel identities to one Poco Loco profile, select one or both channels for a race, build and publish tracks, manage their Garage, open a Grid, run the browser-simulated race, and review Finish results and standings. The Store uses a shared PocoPoint wallet; the Steam build offers only Steam Wallet checkout. A valid Twitch or Kick account and an internet connection are required, and offline play is not supported.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The base game is free to play during Early Access and is planned to remain free after 1.0. Optional PocoPoint purchases are available for supported in-game unlocks. Bundle contents and local prices may be updated over time, with current details always shown before checkout.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to publish meaningful updates on an approximately four-to-six-week cadence, share progress through Steam announcements and our community channels, and use creator feedback to prioritize Builder usability, hosting workflows, onboarding, accessibility, content, and reliability. We will keep the Early Access answers and roadmap current when priorities change.”
