Chuanjia is a genealogy deduction game set in Republican-era China. Play as a lawyer searching newspapers, case files, letters, and old photographs for evidence. Identify people, unravel marriages and blood ties, and piece together the Chen family tree.

A name, a signature, or a reference to a relative can open a new line of inquiry. Search for people and institutions, examine their records, and follow the leads within them to deepen your understanding of the family.
Finishing a document does not always mean you are finished with it. A later discovery may change the meaning of a sentence you have already read.
