About This Game

Build signals. Draw with electrons.

Oscilloscopia is a puzzle game about making pictures with signals.

The basic idea is simple: there’s a target on the oscilloscope, and you have to build a signal that draws it.

Fully simulated dual beam analog oscilloscope

Underneath the puzzles is an authentically simulated dual-beam analog oscilloscope and an actual signal-processing system. The beautiful phosphor trace is the result of the signal you actually built.

Build complex signals with customizable rack system

To build that signal, you add oscillators and other modules to the rack system, tune their parameters, and connect everything with cables until you get the result you want. Most puzzles have more than one solution, and part of the fun is finding a construction that makes sense to you.

Campaign progression

The campaign gradually takes you from the introductory tutorials to classic Lissajous figures, modulation, filters, delays, nonlinear processing, signal blanking, audio processing, and more. The campaign itself is not fully linear and let the player choose what's the next challenge.

You don’t need to know signal processing beforehand—the campaign introduces the ideas as you go.

Sandbox mode

Outside the campaign, Sandbox mode lets you build freely, and the integrated puzzle editor lets you make your own targets and setups. Audio can also be used as a source, so the same rack system can be used to process and explore recordings.
