About This Game

The dragons are dead. Everyone wants what they left behind.

Uncrowned Dragon is a fantasy party-based RPG (CRPG) in development. Begin as a nobody on the frontier, build a company of six adventurers, and carve out your own path through dangerous dungeons, rival factions, and the awakening power of dragon blood.

Make a living among the bones of dragons

The empire wants the mines. The church hunts for dragon blood. The merchants put a price on every bone. You just want to afford your next meal—until an accident at a dragon excavation awakens something inside you.

Follow contracts from crowded port towns to perilous mine shafts, floating black markets, and ancient ruins. What begins as another paid job may lead you to a secret worth far more than the reward.

Six adventurers. A build that works together.

Start with your ancestry, origin, and base class, then shape each party member through advanced classes, feats, spells, and equipment. Hold the line with your frontline, create an opening with your spellcasters, and let a companion deliver the finishing blow.

The reward is watching your choices come together: a stronger character, a new combination, and finally a whole party fighting the way you imagined.

Dragon power belongs to the whole party

Alongside 20 character levels, every party member advances through 10 story-driven tiers of dragon power, with abilities you choose for each character. Pursue individual strength to break an enemy line, or invest in abilities that make the whole company stronger.

As your power grows, so does your place in the frontier's conflicts. What you do with that power is yours to decide.

Choose your pace. Command the battle.

In real-time with pause, stop the action to reposition your party, coordinate spells, and focus your attacks. In turn-based mode, consider each action and plan your combinations one move at a time. You can switch between modes outside combat.

Take your builds into dungeons, put them to the test, and use the equipment and abilities you earn to refine your approach to the next encounter.

Bring a sharp blade—and a resourceful party

Sneak through a guarded passage, negotiate your way past an obstacle, investigate a clue, or work out how to open an ancient mechanism. Your companions' different skills create opportunities beyond combat.

Choose where you stand among the empire, the church, and the merchant powers. Take on contracts and face the consequences of your decisions. The ruins hold more than treasure: some discoveries may change how you understand the world.

Everyone at the campfire has unfinished business

A retired knight, a fox-eared heiress, a dragon hunter, a silent terracotta warrior… Your companions will fight beside you, trade barbs on the road, and share stories they rarely tell anyone else.

Get to know them through conversations and personal quests. Help them face their pasts, make difficult choices, and discover how those choices shape their futures—and your own.

Lead alone, or bring your friends

The game is planned to support solo play and online co-op for 2–6 players. Manage the whole party yourself, or develop characters and coordinate abilities with friends, sharing control of the same six-person company.

Start by fighting for your next meal. Grow strong enough to choose your own fate. The crown is yours to decide.
