Nobody's coming. So the gym is.

In six months, thirty-seven people vanished from the slums of Grayport. The police closed the file. The papers never ran a line. This morning Finn, the youngest kid at THE DEN gym, disappeared too. All he left behind was a badge shaped like a tusk.

TURF FIGHT is a 3D arcade beat 'em up that follows that trail from the back alleys to the docks, through an underground factory and a neon black market, onto a smuggling freighter, and finally to ruins deep in the jungle, where the TUSK syndicate has been digging up something that should have stayed buried.

A brawler with a fighting game's hands

• Command moves. Quarter-circle specials, down-down techniques and a command grab, read from your real inputs and cancelable out of your combos.
  
• Grabs with weight. Walk into an enemy to grab them. Knee them, headbutt them, or finish with a suplex or a flip takedown.
  
• Guard, parry, counter. Parry an attack and your next hit lands as a COUNTER for bonus damage.
  
• Enemies that learn. Spam the same move and they start blocking it. Mix it up, throw them, or knock them down.
  
• Weapons and breakables. Pick up pipes, knives, maces and planks. Smash the scenery for health and points.

Bosses with a plan

Seven bosses, each with its own hand-authored attack patterns and a cinematic entrance: a gang boss ruling the slums, a T-Rex loose on the docks, a giant bear, a kung-fu master, a masked shinobi, a gas-masked giant... and in the jungle, the horned demon MOLOCH, who doesn't fight alone for long.

The heroes of THE DEN

• REX - Ex-detective. A balanced all-rounder who still keeps a copy of the buried case file.
  
• KAI - The gym's karate master. Fast combos. Finn was his first student.
  
• BRUNO - Ex-dockworker. Heavy punches, an armored special and a suplex. TUSK took his job and his crew.

Bring friends

• Local co-op for up to 3 players. Two can share one keyboard, and gamepads can jump in mid-game.
  
• Hero Duel. Fight your way up a ladder against the other heroes, or settle it one-on-one with a friend.

Modes and unlocks

• Arcade - 6 stages plus 2 bonus stages, with an intro, stage briefings and a full epilogue.
  
• Tutorial - Learn everything from movement to command moves, one mission at a time.
  
• Survival - Wave after wave, each one tougher than the last. No continues.
  
• Unlockables - Boss Rush, EX difficulty, Hero Duel, alternate hero colors, a sound test... and a pet dinosaur.
