A living space fungus is eating our colonies, and it grows back faster than you can shoot it. Build turrets, call in orbital strikes, combine flamethrowers, tiny suns and lightning, and hold the line until HQ nukes the source.

About This Game

The spungus is one living organism, and it wants your colony. It creeps forward, ripens and blooms, and devours everything in its path. Shoot a hole in it and the hole fills back in. You can't kill it. Holding it off is the job.

Your first assignment: build the line. Pick where every tower stands and what it covers. The spungus will chew through some of it, and replacements cost requisition tokens, so plan before you place. Welcome aboard.

Your station's artillery reaches anywhere on the map. Every shell blows a hole in the spungus. Every hole fills back in. Keep clicking or invest in the automated shooting. Ammo is on the company.

Flamethrowers sweep burning arcs through the front and set it alight. Fireball Launchers throw tiny suns into the thick of it. And if those don't help – you can always microwave it. The spungus burns great... 75% of the time.

Beam Cutters fire straight through your own barriers and come out the far side wider. Pylon Launchers throw pylons that link into a web of lightning. Protect company property by any means necessary.

Towers have synergy. Fire a sun through a flamethrower and it grows. Push it with a Breach Gun. Hit it with a laser and it bursts into a firestorm. It's mesmerizing to watch, but remember – the spungus will find a way to backstab you.

The spungus comes in four strains, each tough against a different kind of damage. Chaotic barely feels energy weapons. Iron barely feels bullets. Read the map and don't bring a flamethrower to a lava fight.

You're paid for every bit of spungus you destroy, so even a failed shift earns you something. Spend it in a research web of hundreds of upgrades: new towers, new abilities, bigger everything. We believe in career growth.

Nine abilities, delivered on request: strafing runs, napalm, an orbital laser you steer by hand, hellbombs. Stand back and enjoy the view.

You can't shoot the spungus to death. You hold out until HQ's nuke is ready. Then it hits the source, a red wave rolls out, and every last spore dies. Then HQ reassigns you somewhere worse.
