Something in this house has changed. Your job is to notice — and to be right.

You wake up in a house that isn't quite behaving itself. Furniture drifts an inch from where it belongs. A photograph rotates on the wall. A letter appears where a clock used to sit. Somewhere between one and three things in this room are wrong, and you have to find them, fix what can be fixed, and make a call: is this room safe, or is something here with you?

Guess right, and you move to the next room — the house gets a little stranger, a little less forgiving. Guess wrong, and whatever's waiting doesn't wait for you to change your mind.

THE JUDGMENT LOOP

Every round drops you in a room seeded with hidden anomalies — objects nudged out of place, rotated, swapped. Search it, correct what you can, then commit at the red or green button. Every wrong call — and every second of hesitation — costs you.

SANITY IS YOUR HEALTH BAR

There's no HP counter ticking down from gunfire here — there's your grip on reality. Wrong guesses, close calls, and things that get too near drain your sanity, twisting the screen with vignette, chromatic aberration, and a heartbeat that won't slow down. Push it to zero and the house wins.

NOT EVERYTHING THAT SCREAMS IS REAL

Declare a room safe and you might still get a jump scare — but if your sanity isn't actually draining, it's a hallucination, and running is optional. Declare it unsafe and hear real footsteps behind you, and standing still is a mistake. Learning to tell the difference, under pressure, in the dark, is the whole game.

YOUR FLASHLIGHT IS A WEAPON — AND A LIE DETECTOR

Beam it on whatever's stalking you to freeze it in place and buy yourself a window to run. Beam it on something ambiguous and find out, in real time, whether it was ever really there. Just don't run the battery to zero.

A HOUSE THAT ISN'T ON YOUR SIDE

Something crawls the kitchen ceiling and doesn't always stay up there. Something in the bedroom laughs before it starts walking toward you. Taps turn themselves on in empty bathrooms. A locked safe, a keypad, a music box with a hidden compartment, scattered clue cards, and a battered Bible that might just save your sanity if you find it in time — the house hides its answers as carefully as it hides its threats.

PROGRESS IS EARNED, NOT SAVED

Rooms escalate the longer you survive — more anomalies, tighter odds, bolder things in the dark. One wrong judgment sends you back to square one. How far can you get before the house catches you lying to it?
