About This Game

Rip open packs of deeply odd footballers, stick them into a ridiculous XI, and find out how far daft can take you.

OddXI is a football roguelike played with stickers. Every run is three nerve-shredding seasons in one sitting, from the second division to a continental final.

Every pack is a gamble

Tear open a pack and pick who joins the club. Every player is a sticker with a face, a position and a trait, and some of those faces are deeply worrying. Sign them anyway. Somebody has to play in goal.

Your XI is your tactic

There is no tactics menu. The stickers in your starting XI decide the formation. Line up the right traits and they fire ridiculous combos. Swap one player and the formation, the combos and the odds all lurch with it, so you always see your chances before kick-off.

Spend the prize money

Between fixtures, blow your winnings on training, perks and match-day boosts. One shrewd buy can make a scrappy squad click. One bad one can sink the season.

Watch it on the telly

Commit the lineup and the match plays out on a little TV. Chew your nails, then make half-time substitutions when injuries or a bad matchup demand it.

The other teams are odd too

Every season builds to an absurd boss side with its own rules. Plank Based FC are vegan pirates who press like they are boarding a ship. Dynamo Mama still live with their mums, and they park the bus. A goth band turns the whole stadium against you. And the ancient philosophers wait in the continental final, with VAR on their side.

Every sticker you turn up on a run goes in the album: traits, perks, events, kits and leagues. Locked pockets drop cryptic hints. Even a disastrous run turns up something new.
