A message from an unfamiliar girl connects you with Qingyu Gu.

Searching for her missing twin sister, she ventured alone into the “Ruins”—an anomalous realm connected to reality—and became trapped inside an abandoned school where the past repeats itself.

There are no reliable maps here. A door may not look like a door, and a key may not be an object. The people, memories, and moments before you may be nothing more than records reconstructed by the Ruins.

[h2]Help Her Survive from the Other Side of the Screen[/h2]

You cannot control Qingyu directly.

You can read her messages, choose your responses, examine the photographs she sends, and offer advice based on incomplete information. Qingyu will then decide what to do according to the situation—and her own judgment.

She is not a puppet waiting to be rescued. She may question you, hide things from you, pretend she is fine, or make a choice you disagree with. To survive, you must learn to understand one another—and sometimes trust each other with the final decision.

[h2]Interpret Photographs and Find the Gaps in the Record[/h2]

Using the Comet Communicator’s Interpretation function, you can reveal differences in color and frayed discontinuities that Qingyu cannot see with her own eyes.

Compare photographs with information from your conversations. Identify possible routes and search for the “doors” and “keys” hidden within places, moments, actions, and even states of mind.

But remember: Interpretation offers another point of view. It does not reveal an absolute truth.

[h2]When She No Longer Sounds Like Herself[/h2]

The longer someone remains inside the Ruins, the more likely they are to be recorded, reconstructed, and gradually consumed by “Drift.”

When Qingyu begins accepting false memories and confusing another person’s identity with her own, only someone who truly knows her can notice what is wrong—and help her complete a Calibration.

Sometimes, remembering who someone is can be a form of rescue.
