About This Game

This game is a book to browse and read.
It consists of a collection of images, pre-generated by artificial
intelligence, that summarize Genesis, the first book of the Bible.
The main themes are as follows: Adam and Eve in the Earthly Paradise,
Noah and the Great Flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah,
the story of the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Finally, the story of Joseph, Jacob's son sold into slavery,
who becomes ruler of all Egypt.
Each image automatically scrolls across the screen for a
general overview, then a caption appears for you to read.
The goal of the game is to stimulate the reader's imagination for
a spiritual reflection on the origin of the human race, which
originates from a single man, Adam, by the will of God.
It's often said that there's harmony between faith and science, but
Genesis proves the opposite: faith and science follow opposite paths.
Science doesn't explicitly speak of God, nor does the Bible claim to be
a science book.
God transcends the universe and is not subject to the laws of physics.
God creates from nothing, and this fact requires no scientific explanation.
If we then try to justify everything with a rational, scientific
explanation, then we deny the existence of God.
Therefore, we read Genesis not for scientific explanations, but to learn
the truth of the facts, as God relates them through His Word.
When a scientist takes the "chain" of effects and the causes that
arise from them, and retraces this logical sequence, he arrives at making
statements about events that occurred even billions of years ago.
But these statements are plausible hypotheses because of their logic, but
they are not necessarily the truth of the facts as they actually happened.
The truth can only be spoken by someone who is an infallible witness
to what happened.
If someone else, who is not God, were to speak a truth that surpasses or
contradicts the Word of God, then the Bible would no longer be the Word of
God but simply a lie.
Certainly, the Word of God demands its correct interpretation and cannot
be taken literally.
But the authentic interpretation of Sacred Scripture can never affirm
the opposite of what was written in its literal meaning, nor can it deny
the omnipotence of God and then justify a science that is indifferent to
the very existence of God.
