About This Game

A Soul Monsters Side Story — The Priestess Tales

In Soul Monsters, Gael is the Ruler of the Plains — the Priestess who sets the trials of the Earth Realm. This is how she got there.
Her home burned. With nowhere to go back to, she walked into a land no map shows — a land with nowhere to retreat.

You start with nothing

No tools, no fire, no shelter. Make an axe and light a fire before the first sunset, because the dark will not wait for you.
A day runs day → dusk → night. When the sun tilts, the world goes quiet first — animals go home and the screen dims. That is your signal to get back to the light of your campfire. Without fire at night, you last only seconds.

Four seasons, four legendary bosses

Spring rain soaks you, summer wildfires spread, and winter buries the plain in snow. An invasion comes at the end of every season, and with it a legendary boss — Gaiadon, Thunder Emperor, Green King and Pyro.
Bosses gather their strength before they slam the ground. Read the wind-up, step out of the way and strike back.

Build a camp that lasts

26 buildings — from the Campfire, Work Table, Chest and Tent to the Cookpot, Ice Box, Bee Box, walls, traps and the Pig House. 69 crafting recipes, 19 cookpot dishes, 7 crops to farm and 12 kinds of fish to land in a fishing minigame.
The map shows only where you have walked. What you build and where you settle is entirely yours.

Under the ground and across the sea

Build a Cave Hole and go down: five floors that are always dark, three times the Silver Ore, and mushrooms that grow nowhere else.
Lash a Raft or build a Wooden boat and sail to outer islands you can never reach on foot — and to tuna in the deep.

78 monsters

Earth, Sky, Forest and Fire monsters roam the plain, each in hand-finished pixel art with its own four-frame walk. Hits land with a white flash, a knock-back and a heavy thud.
Weaken one and hold out the Earth Sigil, and it may follow you instead.

Wanderer → Last Survivor → Ruler of the Plains

Survive 7 days and an invasion to become the Last Survivor. Survive 28 days and three invasions, and meet all of Garanbator's Demands, and Gael becomes the Ruler of the Plains — the Priestess of Earth.
Each stage makes her faster and stronger and lets her see further in the dark. Clear the game and Hard mode opens.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

AI-assisted image tools were used during development to create fixed assets that are baked into the build as image files and then cleaned up by the developer:

- Pixel-art sprites for Gael, the monsters, bosses and animals, including their walk and knock-down frames
- Pixel-art sprites for buildings, small props and UI icons
- The opening story illustrations, the title illustration and the store page key art (capsules and library images)
- Drafts of some in-game text and the EN / RU / JA localization, reviewed by the developer

Game design, code, the map generator and the user interface are human-authored. The ground tiles, water, trees and rocks are drawn by code. All music and sound effects are synthesized by the game's own code - there are no audio files and no AI model is involved. The pixel font is Fusion Pixel (SIL Open Font License). The trailer and screenshots are captured directly from the game.

No AI model runs while the game is playing. The build is fully offline.
