Why Early Access?

“We're releasing the game in Early Access because there are still several areas we want to develop and improve before we consider the game to be complete. This includes official campaigns, quality-of-life improvements, editor improvements, and additional features.

We're committed to continuing development throughout Early Access and using the feedback we receive to improve the game while we work towards a more complete version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for roughly 6-12 months, with the exact timeframe depending on the development of the remaining features and feedback we receive from players.

Our current goal is to work toward leaving Early Access around the first half of 2027, but this is an estimate rather than a fixed release date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand and improve the game throughout Early Access. Areas we are pinpointing include additional quality-of-life features, official campaigns, improved editor tools, and other features based on development priorities and player feedback.

The scope of these changes may differ during Early Access as we learn more from players and determine which improvements will have the greatest impact on the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is fully playable and functional. Players can already play the core game and create, play, and share community charts.

The game currently has an active community and hundreds of community-created charts available to players. The current version is intended to provide the complete core gameplay experience while we continue working on additional content, quality-of-life improvements, as well as other changes.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain at approximately the same price when it leaves Early Access. This may change depending on the amount of additional content and features added during development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is an important part of our Early Access development process. We regularly communicate with players, read feedback, discuss suggestions, and investigate issues reported by the community.

Player feedback can directly influence our development priorities. We use it to identify bugs and usability problems, improve existing features, determine which quality-of-life improvements are most useful, and help decide which areas of the game should receive additional attention.

We also encourage players to share their experiences with the game, including what they enjoy, what they think could be improved, and what features they would like to see in the future. We will continue communicating with the community throughout Early Access and use that feedback alongside our own development goals to guide the game's development.”
