About This Game

One-line pitch

In 317 CE, the Western Jin has fallen and the northern elite flee south. Found a rising clan in Jiangnan, build its estate, govern the provinces, navigate the Eastern Jin court, and decide what your house will risk for survival and restoration.

Short description

A clan-management and grand-strategy game set during the founding years of the Eastern Jin. Establish your house, settle your people, manage its manor, govern local territory, navigate court politics, and face Zu Ti's expedition and Wang Dun's rebellion.

About the game

Reaching Jiankang does not end the exile. Your people need land and security, your manor needs labour and supplies, and every position you take at court reshapes your relationship with the great clans, imperial authority, and the provinces.

Your story begins in the spring of 317 CE as the head of a rising clan. Choose your family's character, background, political ties, and starting identity, then manage scarce resources as history advances by quarter. Grain, cloth, population, prestige, and political credit are connected. A decision that solves today's crisis may define your house years later.

Found and manage your clan

  • Create a clan head and choose your family's disposition, path, and starting identity.

  • Settle relatives, dependants, and households while maintaining order and security.

  • Develop fields, natural resources, and workshops, balancing labour against long-term growth.

  • Educate and appoint clan members whose lives become part of your wider strategy.

Build a foothold in Jiangnan

  • Read the full theatre map through provinces, regional conditions, and strategic landmarks.

  • Respond to local issues, pay the cost of governance, and establish lasting influence.

  • Deal with displaced people, powerful local interests, shortages, and fragile institutions.

  • Make decisions with visible costs, benefits, time commitments, and risks.

Navigate court and crisis

  • Join court deliberations and choose between great clans, imperial authority, and your own interests.

  • Pursue offices, political credit, and support while living with the promises you make.

  • Back Zu Ti's northern expedition with grain, troops, political cover, or members of your house.

  • Follow a continuous historical campaign from 317 to 324 CE, meeting named figures and facing Wang Dun's rebellion and its aftermath.

The game remains in active development. Current content covers 317–324 CE, and systems, balance, text, and presentation may continue to change.
