About This Game

The rebellion needs a commander and air support. You’re both.

Slag Run is a single-player action game that blends fast action, battlefield strategy, and roguelite progression. Take the controls of a resistance gunship, break through enemy defenses, and help your forces seize territory from the Miners’ Republic.

Lay waste to armored columns, unleash guided missiles, and dodge incoming fire. Clear a path for advancing squads or race back to defend a threatened base. Your gunship can turn the tide of a battle, but you’ll have to choose where you are needed most.

Switch to the strategic map and set priorities for your allied forces. Squads fight and capture territory while you provide air support. Push toward an enemy base, reinforce a contested position, or cut supply connections to weaken the opposition.

Discover weapons and equipment during each run. Tear through targets with autocannons, line up piercing railgun shots, or fill the sky with missile swarms. Add companion drones, deployable turrets, and defensive systems to shape how you fight.

Fight through a sequence of missions, adapt your loadout to what you find, and unlock blueprints that expand your options for future incursions. Each run is another chance to try a different combination of firepower and battlefield tactics.

On a mining colony abandoned by its corporate owners, a revolution has hardened into a dictatorship. The resistance took its name from the Republic’s insult: slag, the worthless residue left after extraction.

Now a mysterious company is supplying the resistance with advanced hardware. You’re the pilot taking it into battle.
