Twenty years after his retirement from the league, Ol' Bud receives a phone call from an old friend. With his old team in tatters and a plethora of books read, Ol' Bud decides to come out of retirement to chase after the one thing that eluded him during his illustrious career.

The Nords are in shambles and it is up to you to rebuild the team into a champion in five years. Trade players, sign new free agents, progress your players, and draft the next generation to field the best team you can while keeping your team under the salary cap.

Each match is a best of seven where you field your best available team to combat the enemy team after scouting them out. Utilize your player's abilities and counter the opposing team as best as possible all the while making sure your team isn't overworked.
