One fattens the gold that drops. One speeds up experience. One improves what chests give back. One works on luck. The axes are different on purpose: they do not compete with each other, and that is why all four are worth having.

THE BONUS IS ALWAYS ON, AND IT IS THE PARTY’S

A pet here is never equipped and never picked before a battle: what it adds counts all the time, for the whole party, and it stacks with every pet you have already earned by slaying monsters.

THEY TAKE NOBODY’S PLACE

The pets earned by slaying stay exactly where they were, with the same requirements as always. These four sit outside that count: they are new content, not a shortcut to what already exists.

THE UNLOCK IS PERMANENT

Bought once, the four are yours for good, on any difficulty. There is no gold path to them inside the game, so this is the only way to have them.
