What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“An idle game is a pacing problem: how fast the numbers grow, when the next mechanic opens up, whether a restructure feels like a reward or a punishment. We run an automated economy simulation on every change, but a simulation plays perfectly and nobody else does. Early Access lets us tune the curve against how people actually play - including the ones who leave it running overnight and the ones who play in five minute bursts.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly 6 to 12 months is our expectation. If community feedback points at something worth building properly, we would rather extend than ship to a date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to keep widening the valley: more factories and districts, more to build inside each one, more dropper and upgrader varieties, and further mechanics that open up as you progress and restructure. We also plan to keep working on quality-of-life and on the language support.

Which of those arrive, and in what order, will depend on how the economy holds up and on what players ask for, so we would rather set out the direction than promise a list.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core game is fully playable: walk your factory floors, place and upgrade droppers, conveyors and upgraders, buy from the company shop, dig out a basement works, take contracts, and restructure to grow faster. There are milestones to chase, a standings ladder, a museum of what you have done, gamepad support and an interface in eight languages.

Balance is checked by an automated simulation on every update, but it is still being tuned, and the amount of content is smaller than we want it to be. Buy it for the loop as it is today.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price gradually as we add content and features. Buying during Early Access means paying the lower price for everything that comes later - the game is never sold twice.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The quickest route to us is inside the game itself: the MORE menu has "Report a bug" and "Suggest a feature", and both go straight to our studio queue rather than an inbox nobody reads. We read every one.

We also watch the Steam Community Hub discussions for this game, and we post patch notes for every update in a consistent format - one line per change, with the actual numbers when something is rebalanced - so you can see whether the thing you raised moved.

For this game, pacing feedback is the most useful thing you can send: where the game started to drag, which upgrade you never bothered with, whether a restructure felt worth it. Those go straight into the balance numbers, and when we change one we say by how much in the patch notes.

What we cannot promise is that every suggestion becomes a feature; we are a very small studio and some ideas will not fit the game. What we can say is that reports and suggestions genuinely set the order we work in, and that the things players tell us are confusing or annoying tend to get fixed first.”

About This Game

WALK YOUR OWN FACTORY FLOOR Phantom Tycoon is an idle tycoon you walk through. Stroll the line as machines drop, upgrade and ship your products, buy the next machine with a deliberate confirmed purchase - never by accident - and watch a dusty 1890s warehouse grow into a valley of ten factories that ends at a starforge in orbit.

A CENTURY OF INDUSTRY Every site is its own era: textile bales, blast-furnace ingots, coil works, motor lines, chip fabs, fusion cells, star alloy. Machines, products and music modernise with the century, and each era is drawn in hand-made pixel art.

SELL THE COMPANY. KEEP THE LEGACY. Restructure to sell everything for legacy shares: permanent revenue, perks, and a company ledger that remembers every firm you built and sold. Blueprints from finished sites let the next company open with machines already standing.

A CREW WITH FACES Hire Reyes, Hollis, Vance, Sokolov and Lin - the caretakers from the story - and post them to sites. Each one changes how their floor runs: cheaper machines, faster lines, richer contracts, more premium drops.

ALWAYS SOMETHING HAPPENING Golden rushes strike the machine next to you. Contracts arrive with deadlines and payouts. Boosts, daily returns, and 45 achievements. And when you put it down, the factory keeps earning - offline progress is counted and paid when you come back.
