Escape Plan is a top down strategy style game with narrative mechanics similar to Dwarf Fortress and & gameplay similar to The Escapists that together with interacting with the prison and it's residents you will find a way to plan your escape.

In here who are you going to trust, attack, create a gang with, bribe, avoid or are you just going to do it all on your own.

The developers describe the content like this:

Reference will be made in the narrative ( text information on screen ) that would be used in a prison environment. This might include descriptions of light violence, blackmail, gambling, drinking, and drugs etc. But NO detailed sexual references. Mostly the references will be related to getting a certain item that a character is into. There may be some humour relating to a character in a certain way but no strong direct references to religion, race, sex or children. As ( at the time of writing this ) Escape Plan is still in development This content will be updated when the game is released.
