A dice roguelike where every die you draft is yours forever — if you get it out alive. Chain combos, stack poker chips that break the rules, and decide at every shop: extract and keep your loot, or push one more round and risk all of it.

About This Game

Roll. Combo. Cash out. Or lose everything.

Alethra is a roguelike dice-battler with one twist that changes every decision you make: your dice are permanent — but only if you get them out.

YOUR DICE ARE YOURS. IF YOU EXTRACT WITH THEM.

Start a run by choosing 40 dice from your collection. They leave the collection and come with you. Win fights, take coins, buy rarer dice, stick custom faces onto them, build something ridiculous.

Then every single shop asks you the same question:

EXTRACT — the run ends now. Everything in your deck is yours permanently. The dice you bought this run, the stickers you applied, all of it.

CONTINUE — enemies scale, shops get better, and if you die, every die you brought and everything you found is gone. No consolation reward. No safety net.

The Classic Die is infinite, so you can always field a deck again. Everything else you have to earn twice: once by finding it, once by walking away with it.

EVERY ROLL IS A DECISION

Five dice. Three rolls. Keep what's working, re-roll what isn't. Except your dice aren't six-sided lumps of nothing:

  • Coin Die — pays you every time it scores
  • Twin Die — scores twice if another die matches it
  • Chameleon Die — ignores its own face, scores the highest on the table
  • Gambler's Die — triples on 4 and up, nothing below
  • Glass Die — doubles your score, shatters for good one roll in four
  • Doom Die — multiplies by however many Doom Dice you rolled

Build a pool that rolls itself into a combination, or build one that doesn't need to.

POKER CHIPS THAT BEND THE RULES

Five slots. The shop between rounds sells chips that rewrite how your dice score.

  • The Mechanic — flips your lowest die to its highest face before scoring
  • Snake Eyes — pays you for rolling the worst numbers on the table
  • Iron Will — turns the health you've lost into raw multiplier
  • Blood Pact — doubles your score and takes a bite out of you for it
  • Double Down — replays the entire scoring sequence. All of it.

CLIMB THE LADDER

Pair. Two Pair. Three of a Kind. Small Straight. Full House. Large Straight. Four of a Kind.

And then Alethra — five of a kind — which multiplies your entire turn by twelve.

The multiplier lands last, after every chip has fired, so everything you built goes inside it. Hitting Alethra on a full board is the best number in the game.

THE HOUSE COMPS YOU (**COMING SOON**)

Beat an enemy and the house pays you back. Three offers, pick one, the rest vanish:

  • Raise your ceiling — more maximum health, which in a run where damage carries over is the difference between round 12 and round 20
  • Level a combination — make Full House pay more every single time you hit it, for the rest of the run
  • Upgrade what you're already running — sharpen the build you have instead of hoping the shop offers it

Twenty rounds of one-of-three choices compound into a run nobody else played. And every comp you take is another reason the deck in your hands is worth extracting with.

TROPHIES

Casino relics that stay on for the whole run. An extra die every hand. An extra roll every turn. Loaded odds that make your best face land three times as often. Expensive. Worth it.

YOUR COLLECTION IS YOUR PROGRESS

Extract with a die you've never used and it joins your collection forever. Stick custom faces on it and the stickers stay. No XP bars, no meta-currency, no unlock grind — just dice you went in and got.

KEY FEATURES

  • 30+ pieces of run-defining content — dice, poker chips and trophies that stack into builds that shouldn't be legal
  • Every die is a different way to break the scoring, not a reskin
  • Extraction structure — every shop is a real decision with a real cost
  • A comp after every fight (**coming soon**) — one of three, and the other two are gone
  • Seeded, shareable runs — same seed, same dice, every time
  • Pause any run and pick it back up exactly where it was
  • Casino-table presentation with the snap, shake and juice to match

AFTER LAUNCH

Alethra releases complete — no Early Access, no season pass, no roadmap you have to buy into. But we're not done with it: new dice, chips and trophies are coming as free updates, and the collection screen has the empty slots to prove it.
