A live dogfight coach for DCS World. Sirius watches your fight and talks you through it — naming the bandit before the merge, calling the flow and the threats as they develop, and debriefing you honestly afterwards. Spoken only, so it works on a monitor or in VR.

About This Software

AN INSTRUCTOR PILOT IN THE BACK SEAT

Sirius watches your dogfight in real time and talks you through it. It names the bandit before the merge, tells you what kind of fight you're in, warns you when he's in a position to shoot, and gives you a short, honest debrief when it's over.

Everything is spoken. There is nothing to read and nothing to watch, so it works the same whether you fly on a monitor or in VR.

IT COACHES BFM

Basic fighter maneuvers — everything from the merge on. Intercepts, BVR and the transit out are silent by design. There is no fight to coach yet, and Sirius does not fill the silence.

Before the merge, it names the aircraft you're facing and what it does well, then tells you how to fight it. Against a Viper in a Tomcat it will tell you he has the energy but your circle is tighter, and that you want the one-circle. Fly the Viper against the Tomcat and it tells you the opposite.

During the fight, it calls the flow as it develops — rate fight, radius fight, scissors — and it changes its read when the fight changes. It calls his clock position and height so you can keep sight, warns you when he's pulling lead or in gun range, and tells you when you've turned a defensive fight around.

Afterwards, it debriefs you. Whether you held the energy, whether you kept sight, how long it took, and whether the way you fought matched the fight you were in.

37 AIRCRAFT, BOTH SIDES OF EVERY MATCHUP

Jets (27) — A-10C, AJS37, AV-8B, C-101CC, F-100D, F-14A, F-14B, F-15C, F-15E, F-16C, F-4E, F-5E, F-86F, F/A-18C, JF-17, L-39ZA, MB-339A, MiG-15bis, MiG-19P, MiG-21bis, MiG-29A, MiG-29S, Mirage 2000C, Mirage F1CE, Su-25T, Su-27, Su-33

Propellers (10) — Bf 109 K-4, F4U-1D, Fw 190 A-8, Fw 190 D-9, I-16, La-7, Mosquito FB VI, P-47D, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk IX

Fly any of them against any of them and the brief is written for that pairing, in that direction. Even cross-era is handled deliberately — a Spitfire meeting a Viper gets a different brief from a Spitfire meeting a Kurfurst.

An aircraft not on the list still gets coached: position calls, warnings, flow reads and the debrief all work from geometry. You lose the named brief and the matchup advice, not the coaching.

THE NUMBERS ARE MEASURED, NOT LOOKED UP

The data Sirius quotes was flown in DCS. All 37 aircraft were taken to a fixed test condition and their turn performance recorded — sustained rate, tightest radius, and where the nose comes round quickest.

Those numbers replace figures fitted to published energy-manoeuvrability diagrams, which correlate poorly with what the simulator actually does. When Sirius names a corner speed, it is telling you what that aircraft really does in DCS.

You can measure your own, too — see EM test mode below.

THREE MODES

Training — for set-piece 1v1s. Sirius takes the nearest enemy aircraft and coaches that fight start to finish.

Combat — for missions with several bandits. Sirius commits to one at a time, briefs him, coaches the fight, debriefs the kill, then picks up the next.

EM test — completely silent. Fly a set test profile and Sirius records what your aircraft actually does: sustained rate, tightest radius, and the speed where the nose comes round quickest. It writes the results to a file with a grade telling you whether the sortie was clean enough to trust. It changes nothing Sirius uses — it just tells you what your jet did.

AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE AS YOU WANT

Full — briefings, flow calls, position callouts, warnings and debriefs.

Warnings only — just the calls that keep you alive: guns threats, stalls, blackouts, the ground.

Off — silent, but still recording, so the sortie can be reviewed later.

Position callouts can be switched off on their own. The voice can be male or female, with a radio effect if you want one. Everything is changeable in flight and remembered between sessions.

BUILT FOR THE COCKPIT

Keyboard shortcuts don't work while DCS has focus, so Sirius binds directly to your HOTAS. Two actions — reset the engagement, and open the control panel — without leaving the cockpit or taking off a headset.

37 aircraft. 65 kinds of call. 966 spoken lines. No account, no internet connection needed once installed.

BEFORE YOU BUY

  • Requires DCS World. Sirius reads your fight from DCS's own export.

  • Windows only.

  • Multiplayer works, with two exceptions: servers that require pure scripts, and servers that don't allow export data. Reading your fight requires the export, so there's no way around it. One click in the tray menu removes it before you join one, and puts it back afterwards.

  • In VR the control panel is on your monitor, not in the headset — bind reset engagement to a HOTAS button instead.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Sirius speaks using pre-rendered audio clips. Every line of dialogue was written by hand; an open-weight text-to-speech model (Kokoro-82M, Apache 2.0) was used during development to record those written lines as audio, in the same way a voice actor would. No dialogue, text or imagery is generated by AI — the model performs a fixed script of authored lines, and the resulting audio files ship with the product. Nothing is generated while the software is running.
