DEMIOURGOS is a first-person narrative horror game.

▎

▎ It's 3 AM, and you wake up in your house. Something is wrong. You feel it before you can see it. Then the sea starts calling you.

▎

▎ Every person has a line of destiny, and so does every animal. You will walk along many of them. The question is simple: can you change them, before the great end?

▎

▎ DEMIOURGOS is a bad dream you almost understand. There are no menus full of numbers, no skill trees, no tutorials. You look, you listen, you run, you hide, and every scene asks something different of you.

▎

▎ THE HOUSE

▎ Your home at night. A corridor that doesn't quite lead where it should, doors that don't stay closed, furniture you can push and pull, and something living in the dark that you don't want to meet. Run, hide, and learn what it wants.

▎

▎ THE ROAD TO THE SEA

▎ Outside, the moon is beautiful and the music is slow. Take a moment. Then take the wheel, because the road is not on your side, and the sea is closer than it should be.

▎

▎ THE STREET

▎ A car, a whale that shouldn't be there, and a storm that turns into a tornado. Cars hit you. The ground rises. Keep moving, because everything here wants to swallow you.

▎ THE OFFICE

▎ You wake up in a cell. Find the electrical panel hidden behind a locker, work out what's wrong with it, and then see the world from a place you never expected. Be careful about what's waiting under the red light.

▎ THE RAILS

▎ Close your eyes. Really. This section is played almost entirely by sound: the rumble, the singing, the screech of the trains, and a split second to decide where to step. Headphones strongly recommended.

▎ UNDERWATER

▎ Endless pool rooms with tiled walls, cold light and water everywhere. The lights go out one room at a time. A mirror shows you something that isn't you. A shark that is never seen whole hunts you through the dark. Glass hides something worse, and at the end of the escape, a door that only opens if you hold on long enough.

▎ THE UNIVERSE

▎ Leave everything behind. Float in space among screens that show you things, while a panic attack builds and the world around you begins to break.

▎

▎ YOUR PHONE

▎ Use it as a flashlight, or raise it and use the camera. Not everything it sees is meant to be found. Some photos are secret, and a few of them mean more than they seem to.

▎ DEMIOURGOS is a first-person psychological horror game. It contains no sexual content or nudity.

▎ The game features disturbing imagery and intense horror sequences, including: jump scares; a violent car crash during a storm; the player being swallowed by a giant creature; a claustrophobic underwater section with drowning-related tension; and the destruction of the Earth.

▎ The final scene depicts a large number of rats swarming the player, followed by a massacre: dead rats lie on a floor covered in blood. This scene contains blood and may be distressing, especially to players sensitive to violence against animals.
▎
▎ Some scenes deal with themes that may be upsetting to some players: the protagonist feels irresistibly "called" to walk into the sea and to step down onto subway tracks, where trains pass close by in the dark. These moments are presented symbolically, as part of a dreamlike, metaphysical story, but they may evoke suicidal ideation and self-harm.
