What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Flow Foundry is built around two things: mastering fast, precision-based platforming and creating and sharing levels with others. Early Access allows the game to grow together with its community.

Player feedback will help shape level design, difficulty progression, movement balancing, the level editor, and the tools for discovering and competing on community-created levels. It also gives us the opportunity to expand the game with new mechanics, obstacles, environments, and features while keeping the core movement and speedrunning experience at the center of development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Flow Foundry to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This may change depending on player feedback and how the game develops during Early Access. We want to leave Early Access when the core systems, level creation and sharing experience, and overall content offering have reached the quality and scope we are aiming for.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Flow Foundry throughout Early Access with more official levels, environments, obstacles and gameplay mechanics, while continuing to refine the movement system and level editor.

We also plan to further develop the community side of the game, including level discovery, competitive features, leaderboards and tools that make creating, sharing and replaying levels more rewarding.

The full version is intended to offer a broader and more polished experience built around the same core: create levels, master movement, compete for faster times, and keep finding new challenges.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is planned to launch with the core Flow Foundry experience fully playable, including precision platforming, time-based challenges, leaderboards, ghosts, and a level editor for creating and sharing levels.

It will also include a selection of official levels designed around the game's movement mechanics and different levels of difficulty. The core gameplay and creation systems will be in place, while the amount of content, variety, balancing, presentation and community features will continue to grow and improve throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Flow Foundry at a lower price during Early Access and may increase the price as the game grows in content, features and overall scope, including when it leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is an important part of how we plan to develop Flow Foundry during Early Access.

We plan to gather feedback on movement, level design, difficulty, balancing, the level editor, and the overall experience of creating, discovering and replaying community levels. Player-created levels and the different ways players approach and master the game will also help us understand which mechanics, tools and features are most valuable to expand or improve.

Feedback and discussions through the Steam Community will help guide our priorities throughout Early Access, alongside what we learn from how the game is played.”

About This Game

Master the flow

Flow Foundry is a fast-paced 2D precision platformer built around momentum, mastery and replayability. Run, jump, shift, rebound and roll through handcrafted challenges where keeping your flow is the key to a fast run.

Reaching the finish is only the beginning. Learn each level, discover faster routes, chain your movement together and shave fractions of a second off your personal best.

Find your perfect run

Every mistake costs time. Every clean section feels better.

Use checkpoints while learning a level, then take on the full challenge when you're ready to set a competitive time. Chase medals, improve your personal bests and compare your runs against leaderboard times and ghosts.

Whether you're trying to finish a difficult challenge or fighting for one more tenth of a second, Flow Foundry is designed to make you want to hit retry.

Build your own challenges

The level editor lets you build your own Flow Foundry levels using the same building blocks, hazards and mechanics found in the official levels.

Create anything from an approachable platforming challenge to a tightly optimized precision run, then share it with other players and see how they approach what you've built.

Discover what others create

Play community-created levels, compete for faster times and discover new challenges built around Flow Foundry's movement system.

A level doesn't end when somebody completes it. New routes can be discovered, records can be broken, and the same few seconds of gameplay can become a challenge worth mastering.

Built for mastery

Flow Foundry is easy to pick up, but its movement system rewards precision and experimentation. Advanced movement can open faster routes and turn a level that once felt difficult into one continuous, flowing run.

Learn the level. Find the line. Master the movement. Beat your time.
