About This Game

Core Drain is a post-apocalyptic roguelite about guiding a robot through hostile biomes. Each run combines resource gathering, production, combat, and ordered objectives. Your build and the resources you carry shape how long the machine can keep going.

FIGHT THE DRAIN

Energy keeps the robot operational. Active work consumes it, while Heat and Weight can increase the drain. Gather materials and build better batteries as you work toward the next objective.

HEAT / WEIGHT / ENERGY

Equipment and carried materials affect more than combat. Heat and Weight can change how quickly Energy runs out, so your loadout must balance power and endurance.

SHAPE YOUR BUILD

Combine cards, BIOS, and hardware to shape your build. Their effects interact with production, combat, and the demands of each biome.

AFTER EACH RUN

A failed run can offer a new card, while lasting progression carries into the next attempt. Review the result, adjust your loadout, and choose a weapon module before heading out again.
