About This Game

You've read the email. You've read the follow-up. You've read the follow-up to the follow-up. Enough.

Per My Last Email is a 16-bit side-scrolling beat 'em up about the day one employee finally snaps. Clock in, walk right, and punch your way through every department of a deeply dysfunctional corporation until you reach the executive floor and the CEO who signed off on all of it.

It plays like the brawlers you remember from the arcade and the couch: locked-screen waves, stage weapons, lives and continues, and bosses with real punish windows. It just happens to be set in the place you spend forty hours a week.

Climb the org chart with your fists

  • Eight departments, each a full stage. Start in the Lobby, then brawl through Accounting, IT, the Call Center, HR, Legal, and Marketing before you reach the Executive Suite.

  • Every department has its own coworkers. Bean Counters throw invoices. Cable Wranglers lasso you with server cord. Support Reps keep respawning from the ticket queue until you smash the switchboard. Mediators heal their teammates and offer to circle back.

  • A Manager and a Department Head guard every floor. The Head of IT kills the lights and summons Reboot Drones. The Director of Customer Experience puts you on hold. The Compliance Manager issues warnings, then enforces them.

  • The C-suite is a boss rush. The COO restructures the boardroom around you. The CFO announces Budget Cuts and takes away your heavy attack. The CTO hides behind patches and spins up drones. Then the CEO, across three phases, ending with an All-Hands you will not enjoy.
