You just took over a cramped second-hand game shop in Neon Haven. All day long people walk in with old consoles, handhelds and games: some want cash, some want a bargain, and a few want to fool you. You name the price, you close the deal, and whatever is left after the bills is yours.

Haggle like you mean it

Every deal happens across the counter, on your shop calculator. Punch in a number, watch their face, wait for the counter-offer. Push too hard and they walk out. Fold too early and you leave money on the table.

Spot the fake

Turn it over before you pay. Condition, rarity, what it is really worth, a label that looks a little too bright... A counterfeit burns you twice: once when you buy it, and again when a customer looks closer than you did.

Everyone wants something

Collectors pay serious money for the right piece. Desperate sellers need cash today. Flippers know exactly what it is worth, hagglers grind you down, big spenders never blink, and scammers smile a lot. A few regulars bring stories of their own, and favors to ask.

Your shop PC runs everything

Follow market prices as they climb and crash, borrow from the bank when the till runs dry, hire staff, train your eye, trade favors with the town's fixers and read the morning paper for a tip. Rent, power and wages come due on their own schedule.

Count the day's take

Every day ends with the numbers: what you sold, what you bought, what you made. Stay in the red too long and the shop is gone.
