About This Game

Run the Cable deeper

There is no light at the bottom of the Chasm.
You have a headlamp, and the Cable spooling out behind you. That is all.

While you stay connected, the Cable heals you and lights the ground around you.
Cut loose from it, and the dark closes in — and so does the Chasm's Corruption.

Running the Cable further costs Fluid Animite. You get that from the things you kill.

Exploration and combat are the same ground

Exploration runs in real time.
The moment something spots you, it becomes a turn-based fight right where you stand.
Where you happened to be standing when it started can decide the whole thing — position matters that much.

So look before you commit. How many are there? Can your current Equipment actually take them?

Put the Elemental Fields to work

Run electricity into a Soaked floor or a pond and the Shocked state spreads across the entire surface. hit an oil-soaked enemy with fire and it burns.

Four elements — fire, water, electricity, oil. Learn the Elemental Reactions they make together, and combat opens up all at once.

Every enemy demands an answer.

Nothing down there goes down easily, but once you understand what an enemy does, that knowledge is your opening.

Go deep for the rare finds. Then all you have to do is get back out.

The best material is at the bottom.

Some unique tools hidden below will completely transform your playstyle.

The clock does not care.
The deeper you are, the uglier the way out gets: call for extraction and everything down there comes after you at once. Hold out until the Extraction Winch reaches you, and you are as good as home.
