Adjust the brightness of supported displays from your Windows system tray. Set each monitor individually or link them to change their brightness together.

Dim below your monitor's usual limits

Some screens still feel too bright at their lowest setting. Monitor Tray combines hardware brightness control with additional software dimming, giving you a deeper dimming range in one slider.

Automatically dim bright content

Auto Dim detects when a display is showing mostly bright content, such as a light webpage or document, and temporarily dims that screen. Each display is evaluated separately. Choose how much bright content triggers dimming, adjust its strength, and optionally fade the effect in and out.

Schedule brightness for day and night

Choose your day and night brightness settings and when to switch between them. Your schedule applies to supported displays while Monitor Tray is running. Enable Start with Windows to make it part of your daily setup.

Compatibility

Monitor Tray is built for Windows. Hardware brightness control depends on your display, connection, and the support available through Windows. Unsupported displays are identified in the app.

Extended dimming and Auto Dim may behave differently with HDR, protected video, exclusive fullscreen apps, Remote Desktop, and some multi-monitor or GPU configurations.
