What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“LINETAIN is a pausable real-time logistics strategy game about reading a 25-second forecast and using a limited network and fleet to move food, ammunition, materials, and wounded personnel.

The core logistics and priority decisions are playable, but first-time clarity, warning readability, pacing, difficulty, and endurance balance need observation and reproducible feedback from a wider range of players. Early Access lets us share the playable core and use community feedback and test results to refine onboarding, quality, and balance.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last around 12 to 18 months. This may change as development progresses and we learn from player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to retain the same core loop in the full version: reading the 25-second forecast, managing four cargo types, safely adjusting route endpoints, and reallocating the fleet.

We plan to use Early Access results to improve onboarding, warning clarity, pacing, difficulty, endurance balance, and stability. We will not make specific promises about additional operations, platform support, feature count, or other additions until they are built and verified.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access launch version is planned as a Windows, single-player offline game played with a keyboard and mouse. It is planned to include the eight-node logistics loop, a staged Introduction, numbered Survival Operations and endurance play, four cargo types—food, ammunition, materials and wounded personnel—pause and speed controls, progressive guidance, and settings for text size, color assistance and reduced motion.

Japanese Interface support is included. English Interface support is planned for the Early Access launch and will be verified before release. This section will be updated before release to describe exactly what purchasers can play on that day.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to price Early Access below the full release. For the full release, we plan to raise the price to reflect content added and improved during Early Access. Exact regional prices and any launch discount will be finalized before release. Any change to this policy will be announced on the store page before it takes effect.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect feedback through Steam Discussions and the public support contact listed on the store page, focusing on bug reports, unclear interactions, pacing, difficulty, and accessibility.

We will prioritize reproducible reports with steps, logs, and screenshots and combine them with observations from first-time tests and surveys. We will not implement every suggestion or promise a fixed update schedule. As a solo developer, decisions will be based on maintainability, quality, and the game's core loop, with confirmed findings and declined changes explained where practical.”

About This Game
YOU DON'T FIRE THE GUNS. YOU KEEP THE LINE ALIVE.
Twenty-five seconds until the next attack.

One front needs ammunition, another food, and wounded personnel need the hospital. Your routes cannot answer everything. You set the priority. LINETAIN is a pausable real-time logistics strategy game where transport and combat run automatically.

READ THE NEXT CRISIS

Every attack is forecast 25 seconds ahead. Read the shortfall and act before the warning expires.

FOUR CARGO TYPES. ONE SHARED CAPACITY.

 • Food and ammunition move to the front
 • Materials become ammunition automatically
 • Wounded personnel travel back to the hospital

Every priority makes another wait.

RESHAPE THE ROUTES. REASSIGN THE FLEET.

Extend or replace one endpoint at a time. A retiring branch must clear before replacement is complete. Vehicles and cargo never teleport.

COMBAT IS AUTOMATIC. CONSEQUENCES ARE NOT.

No soldier control or manual loading. Deliveries keep the front fighting; delays cause breaches, casualties, and losses.

LEARN, REPLAY, AND ENDURE

Learn through seven logistics successes, then replay numbered Survival Operations from the same opening conditions and enter endurance.

CONTROL THE INFORMATION AND PACE

Pause or use adaptive AUTO speed. Adjust guidance, text size, color assistance, reduced motion, and warning pauses.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

All resulting content is selected, edited, and reviewed by the developer before shipping. The game does not generate content with AI at runtime.
