About This Software

Stickman Town is an ambient life-simulation live wallpaper that turns your desktop into a cutaway view of a nine-room apartment building, where a small cast of hand-animated stick figures quietly lives out its day behind your icons.

Every room has its own personality — living room, kitchen, bedroom, gym, karaoke bar, study, garden, game room and boxing gym — each with unique furniture, palettes and preferred activities. The residents make their own decisions: they stretch, cook, read, sweep, water plants, lift dumbbells, play guitar, doze off on the bed, then wander through side doors to visit neighbors. When two of them meet, they wave, chat in speech bubbles, dance, sing, high-five, clink glasses, play rock-paper-scissors, arm-wrestle, or break into a friendly boxing match. A cat and a dog patrol each floor, chasing toys, begging for food, sprinting in sudden zoomies, and curling up beside anyone who falls asleep.

The world runs on your system clock. The sky outside the garden shifts continuously through dawn, noon, sunset and starry night, with drifting clouds, birds, sun rays, moon craters and the occasional shooting star. Wall clocks, a pendulum clock and a glowing digital display all show the real time, and the arcade cabinets cycle through miniature retro games on their own schedule.

You can leave it running as pure background atmosphere, or step in: click a resident to select and pet, drag them into another room, order them to walk somewhere, spawn or remove characters, shuffle the building, change simulation speed, or trigger a town-wide dance, brawl, or chat.

Everything is drawn in pure Canvas 2D skeletal animation — no external assets, no libraries.
