About This Game

At a time when AI is becoming increasingly convincing at pretending to understand us, let a little Virtual Plant that never lies say the words you truly want to hear.

Virtual Plant is not an AI companion designed to analyze you, flatter you, or pretend to be your friend. It is simply a quiet little plant that lives on your desktop.

Write the words you want it to say—a reminder, a little encouragement, a memory, or something that only you understand. It will not guess how you feel or decide what kind of comfort you need.

Every line comes from you.

The plant gently sways in a natural breeze, with occasional stronger gusts. It runs in a small transparent window instead of taking over your entire screen. Drag it anywhere you like and let it accompany you while you work, study, or rest.

Features

• Custom speech bubbles: Write the words you genuinely want to hear.

• TXT import: Import long, line-based content such as vocabulary lists or song lyrics. Each line becomes an individual speech bubble and appears in its original order. It is a feature full of creative possibilities, with more uses waiting for you to discover.

• Interval reminders: Display your speech bubble messages one by one at a chosen interval.

• Daily alarm: Set a specific time and a custom reminder message.

• Natural movement: Watch the leaves respond gently to breezes and gusts.

• Desktop companion: Runs in a transparent window that can be freely moved around your screen.

• Screensaver mode: Let the plant continue accompanying your desktop while you are away.

• Multiple languages: Supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and several other languages.

• Optional startup launch: You decide whether the plant starts with Windows. This option is disabled by default.

How to Use

• Hold the left mouse button and drag the plant to move it.

• Right-click the plant to open the settings panel.

• Use the settings panel to edit or import speech bubble messages, adjust reminder intervals, set a daily alarm, change the language, and configure screensaver mode.

• Click “Save Settings” to apply your changes.

• Use the “—” and “×” buttons beside the plant to minimize or exit the application.

Virtual Plant does not demand constant attention or ask you to complete complicated daily tasks. It simply stays alive in a corner of your screen and speaks the words you have chosen when the time is right.

It does not pretend to have feelings, and it does not pretend to understand you better than you understand yourself.

You choose the words. It quietly says them back to you.
