DEMO CONTENT & LIMITATIONS

Take on a seven-wave demo operation and experience the core combat and upgrade systems of Skyscraper Security: Zombie Rain.

• Play three Defender classes: Skyguard, Breacher, and Deadeye
  
• Fight with the rifle, shotgun, or hand cannon
  
• Use one starting combat doctrine per class
  
• Experience Focus, Dash, projectile parrying, Level-Up upgrades, and the System Shop
  
• Survive seven escalating waves, ending with the demo’s final assault

The Ronin class and cyber-katana, alternate doctrines, Waves 8–15, the Scraper boss, and Hard mode are reserved for the full game.

Demo runs do not advance persistent unlock progression or unlock achievements. Leaderboards, online score submission, and worldwide Defender statistics are unavailable in the demo. Your settings and tutorial completion are saved locally.

THE DEAD ARE RAINING FROM THE SKY

Defend a neon cyberpunk district from infected raining from a breached corporate lab. In this fast first-person action roguelike, you must intercept falling threats, protect humans, and keep the district from collapsing.

Build your firepower, strengthen your defenses, and survive the seven-wave assignment.

BUILD YOUR DEFENDER

Choose your approach: control the airspace with Skyguard’s rifle, crush close-range threats with Breacher’s shotgun, or line up precise shots with Deadeye’s hand cannon.

Each class has its own starting combat doctrine that changes how it attacks during Focus. Combine Level-Up cards with System Shop upgrades between waves to shape your build as the pressure rises.

Rare Recovered Tech grants a free upgrade for the current run.

PROTECT THE RESCUE GRID

Your four rescue drones move the Rescue Grid automatically to catch falling humans. Collect the SS Coins earned from rescues and spend them in the System Shop on equipment, rescue drones, and district repairs.

Defeated infected drop Bio-Samples. Collect enough to fill your XP bar and level up. Each level grants 1 SS Token to spend on Level-Up upgrades between waves. Later levels need more samples. Your level, currencies, and upgrades last for the current run.

BEND TIME. RETURN FIRE.

Hold Focus to slow the world, line up attacks, and regain control when threats surround you. Attack during Focus to unleash your doctrine’s special attack. Special attacks cost extra Focus in addition to the steady drain while Focus is active.

Dash to reposition and parry hostile projectiles with your own attacks. Timing, aim, and resource management matter as much as firepower.

SURVIVE THE SHIFT

Face increasingly dangerous waves of infected and a final assault on Wave 7. Prioritize threats and protect the grid: infected that land in it become Overcharged. Certain enemy projectiles can Overcharge them too.

Survive the assignment, review your results, and try another class or build.

CONTINUE IN THE FULL GAME

The full deployment expands your arsenal and the threats you face:

• All four Defender classes available from the start, including the cyber-katana-wielding Ronin
  
• Eight combat doctrines in total, with each class’s alternate unlocked by reaching Wave 8 with that class
  
• 15 waves, including later threats such as Brutes and Jumpers, culminating in the Scraper boss encounter
  
• Hard mode, unlocked by defeating the Wave 15 boss
  
• Persistent doctrine and difficulty unlocks
  
• In-game achievements, global leaderboards, and worldwide Defender statistics
  
• Optional Online Records for publishing scores, achievement unlocks, and anonymous Defender death reports
