About This Game

Most football management games hand you a playbook. This one hands you a pen.

Indoor Football Manager 2 is an 8-on-8 indoor football sim where you run the front office and the sideline. Draw your own plays route by route, install them, and watch your team run them on a live field. Then build a roster around them — out of the guys nobody else wanted.

You draw the plays

A visual designer for offense and defense. Set the formation, drag the routes, assign the blocking, give every defender a job. Your plays go straight into the simulation engine and get called in real games — by you, or by a coordinator who has his own opinions about them.

Nothing else in this genre lets you do this.

Football off the walls

Indoor football is its own sport, and this is its ruleset — not outdoor football squeezed into a smaller box.

  • A 50-yard field, eight players a side, and dasher boards instead of sidelines

  • Narrow 10×10 uprights that turn every field goal into an actual decision

  • Drop kicks, rouges, and deuces

  • 25-man rosters, where one injury changes everything

It's fast, it's high-scoring, and there is nowhere to hide.

Players pick you for reasons money can't buy

There's no salary cap here, because there isn't one in this sport. Everybody earns the same. So free agents sign for everything else: playing time, a chance to win, the city, your reputation, who else is already on the roster, and whether they believe you.

Every player carries six personality traits, and they're always reading you. Promise a rookie a starting job to get him in the door and he'll remember it in Week 9, when he's still holding a clipboard.

Run the whole building

Hire a head coach and two coordinators, each with rated attributes and schemes they genuinely prefer — run an offense your OC hates and you'll watch it show up in the execution. Poach a rival's coordinator. Promote from within. Fire someone and live with it.

Then run the business. Arena upgrades, three tiers of ticket pricing, concession prices, attendance that responds both to winning and to what you charge, and a cash balance that follows you from season to season.

Call it yourself, or sim the season

Play a game down by down — coin toss, play calls, fourth-down decisions, onside kicks — and watch it unfold on a live animated field. Or sim the week. Or sim the whole season in a single click. It's the same engine either way, so the box score always means the same thing.

Decades of history

Every season gets archived. League records that remember whoever held them before you. A Hall of Fame with thresholds you set yourself. Weekly and annual awards, all-league teams, full career stat lines, all-time standings, head-to-head records against every franchise, and a news feed reporting all of it as it happens.

Ten seasons in, your league has a past.

Build the league you want

  • 6 to 36 teams. Your conferences, your divisions, your playoff format

  • Drafting is optional — run a snake or linear draft, or skip it entirely and build through street free agents

  • More than 20 rules you can switch on or off: injuries, fatigue, trading, retirements, finances, coach poaching, the Hall of Fame

  • Edit anything — players, coaches, teams, the league structure itself

  • Sandbox mode, if you'd rather run the whole league than one team

Play with friends

Multiplayer runs on files. The commissioner exports a league file, everyone else imports it — by file or with a join code — plays their week, and sends a team file back. No accounts, no subscriptions, no matchmaking, no waiting on anyone's servers. Your league is a file you own, and it works just as well passed around a group chat.

Quality of life

Restore points before anything scary. A searchable help center built into the game — hit Ctrl+K from anywhere. Light and dark themes. Your save is a file on your disk, and it's yours.
