We would rather tune those numbers with players than guess at them and ship a game that is too easy for four friends and impossible for one.»

«A playable co-op game, not a demo: catch falling ingredients with the gravity gun, fill one shared pot against two live orders, survive the day, pay rent, and see how many days you last. Online co-op for one to six players, with solo available as a separate mode. What is not finished is the balance: the rent curve and the difficulty scaling for larger groups are the reason this is in Early Access. Expect rough edges in the art and the interface.»

«The price will go up modestly when the game leaves Early Access. Buying it now costs less and includes the full version.»

«Through the Steam discussion boards and reviews, which we read and answer. The numbers we need are the ones you generate: how many days you survive, where the difficulty spikes, what made your group laugh and what made them quit. Every update post will say what changed and why, including the balance numbers.»
