Why Early Access?

“Horseball Manager is an ambitious sports management game built around a sport that has never been represented in this way before. Early Access will allow us to develop the game alongside the community, gather feedback from both management game players and horseball enthusiasts, and improve the balance, user interface, match simulation and long-term career experience before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Horseball Manager to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This estimate may change depending on player feedback and the development of additional features. Our priority is to reach a polished and stable version rather than rush the transition to version 1.0.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access, we plan to expand and refine the overall management experience, including career depth, club management, transfers and scouting, horse and rider development, breeding, facilities, finances, staff management, tactics and match simulation. We also plan to improve balancing, AI behaviour, user interface, localisation and overall presentation based on community feedback. The exact scope may evolve throughout Early Access as development progresses.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is focused on the core Horseball Manager career experience, allowing players to manage a horseball club, its riders and horses, prepare their team, manage club resources and progress through competitions. Several systems will continue to be expanded, balanced and polished throughout Early Access. A detailed list of the features available at Early Access launch will be updated here before release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Horseball Manager at a lower price during Early Access to reward players who support the game during its development. The price may increase as significant new content and features are added and when the game reaches version 1.0. Any pricing changes will be communicated in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of Horseball Manager’s development. We plan to communicate through Steam announcements and the Steam Community Hub, collect feedback and bug reports, discuss balancing and gameplay improvements, and listen to suggestions from both management game players and people familiar with horseball. Player feedback will help us prioritise improvements and shape the game throughout Early Access.”
