What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Gears Of Conquest already includes its core loop of factory automation, research, army training, and turn-based territorial battles. Because these systems are closely connected, player feedback is especially valuable for improving production and economy pacing, research progression, combat balance, tutorials, interface clarity, and overall polish. Early Access allows us to refine these areas alongside the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Gears Of Conquest to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months. This is an estimate rather than a fixed deadline, and the schedule may change depending on development progress, player feedback, and the amount of balancing and polish required.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the main factory automation, research, army-training, and territorial-conquest systems. For the full version, we plan to complete and rebalance late-game progression, expand production and combat content, refine the economy and difficulty curve, replace remaining placeholder elements, and improve tutorials, interface clarity, performance, save reliability, audiovisual presentation, and quality-of-life features. The exact priorities and scope may evolve in response to player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version provides a playable single-player loop connecting factory automation with tactical conquest. Players can extract and refine resources, configure automated production chains, manage power, modules, machine upgrades and trade, research new technologies, manufacture weapons and vehicles, train specialized units, and command formations in round-based battles.

Conquered territories provide rewards that feed back into industrial progression. The game remains in active development, so late-game balance, tutorials, interface clarity, performance, save reliability and some audiovisual elements are not final. Bugs and significant balance changes should be expected, and major updates may affect save compatibility.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Gears Of Conquest at a lower price during Early Access to reflect its current state and reward early supporters. The price may gradually increase as substantial content and features are added, and we currently expect the full version to cost more. We plan to communicate any price changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve players through Steam Community discussions, update posts, patch notes and playtesting feedback. We will closely follow reports concerning bugs, performance, production balance, research pacing, interface usability and combat difficulty.

Community feedback will help us prioritize improvements and balance changes. We also plan to share development updates explaining meaningful changes and the areas currently being worked on.”

About This Game

Build the engine of conquest

Gears Of Conquest is a single-player steampunk factory-automation and turn-based strategy game where every production decision supports the battlefield—and every victory strengthens your industry.

Extract resources, refine materials, and automate layered production chains. expand machine capacity, install modules, trade goods, and improve individual machines as your industrial operation grows. Morrow, your upgradeable robotic assistant, guides production and can boost your factory when you need it most.

Turn industry into military power

  • Automate production across mining, smelting, refining, manufacturing, and advanced fabrication.

  • Advance through six research tiers to unlock machinery and engineering upgrades.

  • Manufacture weapons and vehicles, then use that equipment to train specialized troops.

  • Manage power, machine slots, modules, inventory, upgrades, and trade.

Command the forces you create

Deploy troops across frontline, backline, and support positions. Study the enemy formation, assign targets to individual units, and resolve each battle one animated round at a time. Between rounds, adjust your formation and targeting before committing to the next exchange.

Conquer rival territories to earn artifacts, blueprints, currency, and resources that feed back into industrial growth. Better production builds stronger armies; battlefield victories unlock new advantages for your factory.

Forge the machines. Train the army. Turn every cog into conquest.
