Game Pulse: 2021 Season Set

A full 162 again, nine no-hitters, and a two-way player doing something the game had not seen since Babe Ruth. This set brings the complete 2021 professional baseball season to Game Pulse — all 30 teams, every player, and 34 ballpark cards, including every place the season actually traveled.

What's Included

All 30 team rosters with full player cards (position players and pitchers)

34 ballparks — every big-league stadium plus the season's special venues: the corn-field diamond at MLB at Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Bowman Field in Williamsport for the Little League Classic, and Sahlen Field in Buffalo and TD Ballpark in Dunedin, where Toronto played the first half of its home schedule

Shohei Ohtani as a true two-way player, with both a batter card and a pitcher card

Mid-season movers get a card for each team they played on, plus a combined totals card

New ratings built from the full 2021 regular season and postseason

Card Generation

Every card is generated from actual 2021 season statistics. Batter and pitcher ratings are built from real performance data across the full season, with park factors computed from each stadium's run environment — so Shohei Ohtani's card reflects his unanimous MVP year, and Coors Field plays the way it plays.

The Two-Way Season

Shohei Ohtani hit 46 home runs, drove in 100, and stole 26 bases. He also went 9-2 with a 3.18 ERA and 156 strikeouts across 130-plus innings on the mound. At the All-Star Game, he started as the American League's pitcher and led off as its designated hitter in the same game, and in November he was a unanimous MVP. This set gives you both of his cards. Bat him, pitch him, or do both in the same game and let the dice sort it out.

Icons of the Era

2021 was a season of extremes. Bryce Harper hit .309 with a 1.044 OPS and took the NL MVP. Robbie Ray struck out 248 with a 2.84 ERA for the AL Cy Young, and Corbin Burnes posted a 2.43 ERA for the NL award. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Salvador Perez tied for the major league home run lead at 48, with Perez adding 121 RBI — the most a catcher has ever driven in. Jacob deGrom carried a 1.08 ERA into July. Nine different no-hitters were thrown, the most in any season of the modern era, including Joe Musgrove's — the first in San Diego's history. San Francisco won a franchise-record 107 games and still had to beat a 106-win Dodgers club to survive the division. Max Scherzer struck out his 3,000th batter, Miguel Cabrera hit his 500th home run, Tim Anderson ended the Field of Dreams game with a walk-off into the corn, and Randy Arozarena and Jonathan India took Rookie of the Year honors. And with the National League still batting its pitchers, the double switch mattered — every pitcher's real hitting is in the set.

Relive the 2021 World Series

Atlanta Braves vs. Houston Astros. Atlanta sat at 44-45 in early August and had already lost Ronald Acuña Jr. for the year to a torn ACL. The club rebuilt its entire outfield at the trade deadline — Joc Pederson, Eddie Rosario, Adam Duvall, Jorge Soler — got hot, and never stopped. Soler led off the Series with a home run and finished it in Game 6 with a three-run shot that left Minute Maid Park entirely; Max Fried threw six shutout innings behind him, and Atlanta had its first championship since 1995. Replay it batter by batter, manage either side, or run the series a few dozen times and see whether Houston finds the answer this time. Every at-bat, every pitching change, every ballpark detail — all driven by the real 2021 cards and the roll of the dice.

A Cards and Dice Baseball Game

Game Pulse is a true cards and dice baseball simulation. Every plate appearance is resolved by player cards and dice rolls — the same tactile, statistically driven experience that tabletop fans have loved for decades, brought to life digitally with full animation, sound, and presentation.
