Why Early Access?

“Penthouse is still in active development, and Early Access lets me build the game together with the community. Many core systems are already implemented, but there is still a lot of content, balancing, and polish to add. Early Access gives players the chance to experience the game early and directly influence how it grows.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Penthouse will likely remain in Early Access for around a year or more. The timeline depends on how quickly new content is developed and how much feedback the community provides. I want to take the time needed to build the best version of the game without rushing major updates.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include significantly more content, more ghost types, more items, expanded outdoor encounters, additional systems, multiplayer is planned for a future update and is not yet implemented in the current Early Access build, and overall higher polish. Early Access contains the core gameplay loop, but the full release will offer more variety, more progression, more environments, and more features based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the main gameplay loop: exploring the Penthouse, collecting evidence, returning to the boat, managing rent, encountering ghosts, outdoor threats, and items. Core systems such as health, death, evidence conversion, random generation, ghost behavior, and shop items are already implemented.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I do not plan to change the price when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will directly shape the direction of Penthouse. Players can report bugs, suggest new features, request balance changes, and share ideas for ghosts, items, and events. I will be actively listening through Steam discussions, social platforms, and other feedback channels. Many updates will be based on what the community wants, and I intend to keep this community‑driven approach even after Early Access.”
