About This Game

TRADE CHARTS NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN

The chart in front of you has never existed. It will never exist again.

CandleBook is an offline, single-player trading simulator for chart reading, position sizing and risk management. Trade synthetic markets one candle at a time, manage virtual capital, and learn from the consequences of every decision—without memorising historical replays or waiting weeks for a setup.

A month of market can take ten minutes. A year can take an evening.

ONE CLICK IS ONE DAY

Advance the chart one simulated day at a time. Read the price action, place your orders, set your risk, then see what the next candle brings.

Study every decision manually, or run the market automatically. It pauses when an order fills, a stop triggers, or an armed price alert fires. Your orders remain live while the market moves.

There is no rewind and no answer key. Only the chart, your plan, and the risk you chose to take.

A MARKET WITH NO PAST TO LOOK UP

Historical replay has a problem: the second time you trade an old crash, rally or breakout, you already know what happens next. You are no longer reading the market. You are remembering it.

Every CandleBook session is generated from market regime structure: accumulation, markup, distribution, markdown, rallies, selloffs and quiet ranges. Candlestick patterns emerge within that structure instead of appearing at scripted moments.

Volatility, liquidity, spread, gaps and news behavior vary by market. Gold does not move like Bitcoin, and here it does not pretend to.

The result is a new, plausible and unrepeatable chart. You cannot search it, replay it, or ask someone else where it goes next. You have to read what is in front of you.

EXECUTION HAS CONSEQUENCES

A trade is not just an entry arrow and a result. The way an order fills is part of the lesson.

 • Preview your fill before you commit. Larger market orders can receive a worse fill as available liquidity thins.
 • Stops and targets can slip. They fill within the candle’s real range instead of magically at your selected price.
 • Gaps can cross a stop. When a market opens beyond your stop, the position fills at the open.
 • Trading costs stay on. Spread, commissions and overnight carry affect every position by default.
 • Leverage has visible risk. Trade from 1x to 10x leverage and keep the liquidation price drawn on the chart.
 • Risk is visible before entry. The order ticket shows your maximum loss in dollars and as a percentage of balance.

Build a process that accounts for execution, not just direction.

READ THE CHART. FILTER THE NOISE.

More than 20,000 written headlines appear across central-bank policy, earnings, macro data, geopolitics, supply and sentiment. Scheduled events are announced in advance, resolve at the market open, and can move price through a gap.

Not every headline matters. Some are noise. Some signal a real change. Some are deliberately misleading.

After every session, review the headlines you traded through, what they were pointing to, and what the market did next. Learn whether you reacted to information, noise, or your own bias.

THE MARKET SETS THE CHALLENGE

Every session has a market-adjusted return target and a loss budget. A sensible target in EUR/USD is not the same as a sensible target in Bitcoin, so the game accounts for each market’s own volatility.

Return only counts when it fits inside the risk budget. Break the budget and a profitable session can still be graded as over-risked.

Sessions receive a grade from S to F with an explanation: Market Wizard, Fund Manager, Efficient, Over-Risked, Under-Deployed, Bled by Carry, Defensive, Paper Hands or Liquidated.

The objective is not simply to make virtual money. It is to make decisions that survive review.

45 LESSONS, TAUGHT ON THE LIVE DESK

No videos to watch before playing. No glossary detached from the chart.

CandleBook teaches 45 interactive lessons directly on the trading desk, with the market moving and a decision waiting to be made. Learn candle anatomy, market regimes, moving averages, VWAP, ATR, position sizing, stop placement, R-multiples, partial exits, trailing stops, drawdown control and news filtering.

Each lesson teaches a decision in context. Exams remove the guidance and leave the chart in your hands.

A JOURNAL THAT FINDS YOUR REPEATED MISTAKES

Every closed trade contributes to one career journal.

Track expectancy, profit factor, win rate, average payoff, R-multiples, maximum drawdown, performance by market, setup tag and market regime. Export the full trade history as CSV, or print a two-column session report with your equity curve, trade log, regime review and headline audit.

The journal also detects seven recurring trading leaks and estimates their cost in virtual dollars:

 • Letting winners return to break-even
 • Cutting winners too early
 • Revenge trading after a loss
 • Oversizing positions
 • Trading without a stop
 • Fighting the market regime
 • Doing nothing until the session runs out

See which habit is costing you the most, then measure whether your process improves over time.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

CandleBook is not financial advice, not a broker and not a promise of profit. No real money moves at any point.

It is not a tycoon game, story game or idle game. There are no upgrades to buy, no characters to manage and no real-world market data to chase.

It is a practice environment: a synthetic market, virtual capital, a chart that moves one candle at a time, and a record of the decisions you made.
Important
The markets are synthetic. CandleBook generates its markets from modeled market structure. They are not historical datasets and do not represent any real market, index, security, benchmark or future market behavior.

Results are simulated. They do not predict real-market behavior or trading performance.

This is not financial advice and this is not a broker. All capital in the simulator is virtual, has no real-world value, and cannot be bought, sold, redeemed or withdrawn.

Headlines are fictional. They are written offline, reviewed before release and included with the game. Nothing is generated while you play, and no connection is required.
