About This Demo

Worker Survival Simulator is a pixel-art life simulation game about surviving the modern workplace. You play as a 22-year-old young adult entering society for the first time, starting out in a tiny rented apartment and embarking on a ten-year working life in a bustling city.

Every day is a carefully calculated battle for survival. Plan your schedule in the morning, squeeze onto the rush-hour subway, clock in, attend morning meetings, hit your KPIs, and submit weekly reports. Six core stats—Energy, Mental State, Stress, Health, Hunger, and Cash Flow—are constantly interconnected. Let any one of them spiral out of control, and your life may take a completely different direction.

You’ll constantly have to choose between working overtime to climb the career ladder and protecting your health and peace of mind—just like real working life.

Life Begins After Work

After work, the other half of your life begins.

Grab a rice ball at a convenience store to satisfy your hunger, head to a bar for a drink and a round of board games, study for your next exam at the library, hit the gym for some heavy squats, treat yourself to a shopping spree, or simply take a walk and clear your head in the park, on the mountaintop, or along the riverside.

You can also stay home, take freelance gigs, watch the stock market, and gamble on a chance to turn your life around.

Every street and location can be freely explored in the pixel-art world. Different areas are seamlessly connected, allowing you to actually walk through the city. Take a detour from the park to climb up to the mountaintop, or stroll along the riverside all the way home.

Who Will You Become After Ten Years?

That depends on every choice you make along your personal story tree.

Will you become a career-driven corporate elite, a life-loving homebody who knows how to enjoy the little things, a daring risk-taker willing to bet everything, or an ordinary person simply carried along by life?

At the end of ten years, your choices will be calculated and your very own ending will be revealed.
