Why Early Access?

“Vox Populi is an ongoing project. The plan is to regularly add new election scenarios, both real and fictional, over the period from 2026 to 2029. The game's overall mechanics will be improved during this time based on player feedback and suggestions until we achieve a satisfactory final version.
Please note that no Early Access version should contain any bugs or issues, even temporary ones. If players find any, they will be fixed within a few days.”

“Time is needed to follow current events during the planned period and write real-world election scenarios, incorporating the latest general improvements. However, the final version may be released before 2029, with further improvements made afterwards.”

About This Game

Warning: Early Access currently includes only the 2024 U.S. elections and the 2026 Brazilian elections. Additional scenarios for these countries, as well as for the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Spain, and Germany, will be added soon at no additional cost.

Play as a real-life political figure or create your own character with a fully customizable ideology. In “Vox Populi II”, you’ll run an election campaign in a political scenario to lead the government of one of the many available countries and set your own goals for your party and your nation!

  • Select a country and set a starting date and political situation by choosing from multiple scenarios.
  • Recruit characters to your team, then campaign among voters to win the election.
  • Participate in debates and use the rhetoric cards you collect throughout the game.
  • Win a majority in Parliament, take control of the government, and manage your ministries strategically.
  • Influence your country's wealth, infrastructure, social classes, and quality of life to govern it effectively.
  • Change your nation’s laws and constitution according to the rules established by those laws.
  • Conduct internal or diplomatic negotiations with other countries whose outcomes and pawns depend on the game’s current situation.
  • Choose your political system and leader's name, expand your borders diplomatically, or opt for isolationism.

  • A detailed character creator that allows you to customise your character’s appearance and ideological values.
  • Dozens of ideological corpuses with varied effects based on different ideologies.

  • About a hundred unique characters in each game, either pre-designed or randomised, to which numerous varied traits and their effects have been added.
  • A debate mechanic featuring around fifty game cards.
  • A unique system of government, parliament and ministries available as soon as you win your first election.
  • Management of your country through infrastructure, class transfers, decrees, and national policies.
  • A complex constitutional system combining dozens of laws and around twenty possible political systems.
  • A negotiation minigame whose pawns, cards, and effects depend on the situation of your party and the country.
  • A list of objectives tied to the player character’s ideology.
  • A metadata window and varied, detailed map modes to assist you in making strategic decisions.
