Tentang Permainan Ini

ABOVE THE TIDELINE

Norway, April 1945. The war has weeks left to run, and nobody on Ravnholmen knows that yet.

Håkon keeps the lighthouse on a small island off the occupied coast. He lives there with Ingrid, Erik and Solveig. German patrols come and go. Ships pass in the dark. Every night the log has to be filled in, and every morning somebody reads it.

THE DAY

Paraffin, food and daylight all run out. You assign the family to the work the island needs: fishing off the jetty, gathering driftwood, repairing what the weather broke, sitting with whoever is sick. Weather and tide decide what is possible. Hunger and exhaustion decide what it costs. The work that keeps the lighthouse running is not always the work that keeps the family standing.

THE LIGHT

The lamp is a navigation aid, a military asset and a signal, depending on who is watching. A German convoy may be routed through your waters on the same night a fishing boat is depending on the beam. Keep it burning, darken it, or use it to say something to whoever is out there. Ships do not come back to tell you what you chose.

THE LOG

What happened during the day is only half the problem. At night you write it down, and for every entry you can tell the truth, lie, or leave it blank.

The Germans do not rely on you alone. Patrols keep their own records. Officers remember conversations. Other people saw what you saw. A small lie on Tuesday becomes a contradiction on Friday, and a blank line has its own shape on the page.

THE FAMILY

Ingrid, Erik and Solveig are not labour units. They get sick, frightened, stubborn and brave at their own pace, and what you make them do changes how they see Håkon. Surviving the occupation and surviving it together are two different outcomes.

THE RECORD

Liberation is coming. History already knows how the war ended; it has nothing to say about your island. Who you sheltered, which ships reached the shore, what you told the officer with the clipboard and what you left off the page decide which version of Ravnholmen survives.

The ledger is the last thing anyone will read.
