Grow your way home.

A little alien botanist has crash-landed on Earth with a broken ship and a seed pouch. The only way home is fuel, and the only way to make fuel is to farm. Good Dirt is a deck-building roguelike about planting the right crop in the right spot, one field at a time, until the tank is full enough to leave.

Every crop is a card

Draw a hand of seeds each day and plant them on a hex grid. Crops care about their neighbours: some feed each other, some compete, and a good layout can turn a modest hand into a bumper harvest. Water is tight every day, so each planting is a choice.

Build your farm, not just your deck

• Lay down soils that permanently grow your farm and change what grows well on it

• Upgrade your crops with enhancements, or wait for a rare mutation

• Cross-breed crops in the lab to make strange new hybrids

Every step costs fuel

Between fields you choose your route across the map. Safe plains or riskier special fields, a refuel stop or an upgrade. You can see a few steps of the road ahead, so you can plan, but every move and every day in the field burns fuel. Run dry and you're stuck.

Read the land

The fields you clear build toward Earth Glyphs, run-wide powers that bend the rules in your favour. Choose them carefully, because the right combination can carry a whole run.
