About This Game

Your uncle left you land in Blackwaters… and his debts. Landman Oil Simulator is a hands-on oil tycoon sim: start the rig yourself, carry the barrels by hand and drive them to the refinery. Then grow one pickup into an oil company with staff, production chains, a semi-truck and exports by sea.

Pump It. Haul It. Sell It.

Refuel your truck, buy diesel for the rig and start it up. Carry the barrels into the truck bed, drive to the refinery and sell. Oil prices rise, fall and spike in demand frenzies, so pick your moment.

Your first haul fits in a pickup bed. Later you back a semi-tractor under a 24-slot flatbed trailer: the hitch couples by itself, and the trailer's cargo counts toward refinery sales and contract deliveries.

Run Your Oil Company

Register a company with your own name and logo, then run it from your in-game phone (Tab): Manager, Warehouse, Garage, Contracts, World Market, Port, Refinery, Research, Missions and more. New apps open up as the company grows.

• Hire staff. A Landman runs your rigs for you. Drivers take one vehicle each and haul barrels on their own. A Financier and a Sales Manager boost your economy. Everyone draws a daily salary.

• Take contracts. Clients around town offer a choice of jobs. You deliver the cargo yourself and get paid in cash and XP.

• Construct buildings. Eight of them: Office, Warehouse, Market, Refinery, Research Center, Sawmill, Stone Crusher and Smelter. Each costs cash plus wood, stone or metal and takes time to build.

Mine, Saw and Craft

Oil is only the start. Take a pickaxe to the stone quarry and the mine, an axe to the lumber camp. A one-time permit lets you harvest each site as much as you like.

• Conveyor stations next to each site: 1 boulder makes 5 stone, 1 log makes 5 planks, 1 ore makes 5 metal. Stone goes into concrete blocks and, with bitumen from your refinery, into asphalt.

• Mini-factory with 4 lines (Forge, Joinery, Chemical plant, Asphalt plant) and over 25 recipes to research: pipes, steel, furniture, log cabins, plastic goods and more.

• Refinery turns crude into gasoline, diesel, heavy fuel oil, bitumen and lubricants. Upgrade its speed and yield.

• Tools wear out. Repair them with grease or cash, then forge steel versions.

Level Up and Research

Oil work trains the Oilman, stone and ore the Miner, timber the Lumberjack. Each profession goes up to level 100, and your player level is 1 plus the sum of your profession levels.

• Talent trees: 6 skills per profession, a two-way choice at levels 50 and 100, and synergy talents that link professions together.

• Research tree: over 40 nodes in the Oilman, Miner and Lumberjack branches: refinery products, harvest permits, processing stations, mini-factory lines and recipes.

• Passport: your level, professions, net worth, league and your online rank among tycoons worldwide.

• Missions: 40+ story missions from First Deal to Oil Magnate, plus daily missions.

Trade on a Moving Market

• World Market: buy and sell resources. Your manager negotiates the deals, and even a failed negotiation still sells the goods at a share of the market price.

• Port: import materials by ship and send export voyages to Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan and the USA.

• City Hall: fill town orders to raise Blackwaters level by level, with rewards such as an import discount and an oil price bonus.

• Gas station: buy one, hire an operator and truck in gasoline. It sells fuel for passive income.

• Net Worth: outgrow AI rivals, each with a named CEO, and climb three leagues: Garage Startups, Regional Players and Oil Magnates. The top two add +5% and +15% to your oil price.

Grow Your Fleet and Rigs

• Vehicles for every job: pickups, a van, a mail van, a flatbed truck, an oil tanker that loads crude straight from the rig, a farm tractor and a semi-tractor.

• Two hitch types: a fifth-wheel flatbed trailer for the semi-tractor and a 12-slot drawbar trailer for the farm tractor.

• Rig upgrades: speed, barrel storage and fuel tank, plus rig levels and a storage tank built from metal. Condition wears down, so plan your repairs.

Play in a Shared World

Blackwaters is online: up to 20 players share a server, and each of them runs their own company.

• Play with Friends: create a private room, join a friend's room or stay in the public world.

• Parties of up to 4: party auras and Crew jobs with a shared reward pool and a crew bonus.

• Co-op hauling: ride as a passenger, load a barrel into a friend's cargo or transfer cargo between vehicles.

• World Chat with replies, block and report.

• Online leaderboards: global net worth (all-time and weekly) and world boards for Oil Extraction, Stone Quarrying, Logging, Ore Mining, Oil Sales, Export Voyages and more.

Controls and Graphics

• Keyboard hotkeys: E, R, Q and G for actions, F to get in or out of a vehicle, Tab for the phone, Esc to close panels or open settings.

• High, Medium and Low graphics presets with an extended draw distance.

• A day/night cycle with sun and moon lighting and lights that come on after dark.
