A small indie game made by a solo developer. A roguelike card battler where you gather cards to advance through endless rooms. Violet Stardust is a roguelike card game where both the creatures you command and the places you explore are cards.

Build a deck of strange creatures, play Room Cards to determine where your journey takes you, and fight your way through an unpredictable world filled with dangerous enemies, valuable discoveries, and powerful opportunities to reshape your deck.

EXPLORE THROUGH CARDS

Your Room Deck determines the path ahead. Play Room Cards to travel to new locations, encounter enemies, search for new cards, recover from previous battles, and discover opportunities to craft.

When it's time to move on, choose new rooms to add to your deck and gradually shape the world you'll encounter.

But danger follows you. Certain rooms bring you closer to a powerful boss, forcing you to decide how far you're willing to push your run before facing what awaits.

BUILD YOUR CREATURE DECK

Collect creature cards with different attack values, health, and special abilities.

Combat takes place across a battlefield of lanes where positioning matters. Place your creatures carefully, block incoming attacks, break through enemy defenses, and strike your opponent directly.

Some cards are powerful on their own. Others become dangerous when combined with the right abilities and strategies.

CRAFT SOMETHING NEW

Cards aren't always permanent.

Combine Room Cards to create entirely new locations, transfer abilities between creature cards, and merge matching cards to strengthen your deck.

Experiment with different combinations and turn the cards you find during each run into a deck capable of surviving increasingly dangerous encounters.

DISCOVER CARDS FOR FUTURE RUNS

Not everything disappears when a run ends.

Discover the mysterious Printing Press and use it to preserve cards you've found, permanently unlocking them as options for your future starting decks.

With each run, you'll discover more of Violet Stardust's world and gain new possibilities for the next.
