The fog swallows Haejin whole during the day. It pulls back at sunset, and that gap is the only window anyone gets. Take a flashlight and go in.

GET OUT BEFORE DAWN

When the night ends the city goes back under the fog, and so does anyone still inside it. Nothing shows you the way out. You find it yourself.

RATION YOUR LIGHT

You only see what the beam touches. Turn it off and your eyes adjust, but you stop being able to tell what anything is. Light shows you the way, and shows you to everything else.

FIGURE OUT WHAT HUNTS YOU

No two species behave the same way. The game never tells you which is which. You work it out, or you die learning.

HAUL IT OUT

What is left in the city is worth something once you carry it home. Every night you decide again what to leave behind and what to run with.

BRING SOMEONE WITH YOU

Go in alone, or take other agents into the same city. Their light helps. Their footsteps do not.

This is a horror game containing the following.

Violence. The player uses a handgun and molotovs against supernatural entities.

Depiction is restrained. Hits are shown as small red marks and lines on screen with minor blood spots on the ground, and no bodies remain. The game renders at low resolution with dithering in a late-90s console style, so shapes are never clearly legible.

In-game documents describe bodily transformation in text: a mass of people fused together with faces and limbs on its surface, an entity that ejects tissue from its mouth. These are never shown as images.

Horror presentation. Pursuit, tinnitus, narrowing and color-distorted screens, and brief screen tearing. The game does not use loud startle scares.

Mental state. The protagonist's psychological strain is a core system. At its limit she collapses in place, controls briefly stop responding, and her muttering and breathing are audible.

Drugs. A sedative appears as an item the protagonist takes to steady herself. Taking it is shown on screen, and the narrative includes her being worse off after it wears off. No alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs.
